Pricing is very flexible and some pages are developed free of charge with some of our Web Page Hosting packages. Compare our prices and services to other web design companies. Keep in mind that all of our packages include up to 30 minutes of monthly maintenance to your web pages at no additional cost to you. Many companies may charge you $75 per hour or more for your monthly maintenance. At those prices, the value of QWD's free monthly maintenance may be worth more than you are paying in monthly hosting fees. But wait, there's more! As part of our normal setup, QWD will design, create and market your web site. and we will provide you with your own counter to measure the number of hits your page has received. QWD will also scan your logos or photographs for use on your web pages. We can also custom create logos, images or animations for your web pages.
We are conservative in our design because we want to portray a professional image for you and your business. We work with you to give you what you want. After all, your page should be a reflection of you and your business, not the company that designed it.
We will host your homepage on our web server for as little as $14.95 a month! All our packages are customized to what works best for you. Many hosting plans include up to 30 minutes of maintenance per month. Use this maintenance time to have QWD update your text or images at no additional monthly cost!
These prices are for our basic addressing plans. That is, you use our internet address with your directory name tacked on the end. For example, the basic addressing for your company would be www.qwd.com/yourcompany. If you would like a more personalized web address or URL (Uniform Resource Locator) for your company along the lines of www.yourcompany.com, see our Virtual Address price list.
The basic addressing for your company is www.qwd.com/yourcompany. However, you also have the option of getting your own virtual web address like www.yourcompany.com. Virtual addressing can be added to any of our basic web hosting packages.
After your site has been developed, it needs to be marketed. At QWD we work hard to be sure the entire world can see your site, but the first step is up to you! Your unique address on the internet is your URL (Universal Resource Locator). First, put your URL on your business cards and stationery. Next, be sure it is prominently displayed in any print advertising you use. This will let your customers know that you have a 24 hour worldwide presence on the internet.
QWD will register your URL with several of the internet's top search engines at no additional charge. In addition, we will post announcements in applicable special interest newsgroups. We will also provide a direct link from our site to yours. This provides maximum visibility for you and your site.
As a customer of QWD, you will have the option of using FTP, File Transfer Protocol, to transfer files to and from your own directories on our server. What this means is that you have the ability to update your own web pages 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is especially helpful to our customers who issue frequent press releases or product updates. FTP gives you the freedom to change your web pages at anytime without any outside intervention.
The beauty of the web is that you can instantly publish your information to a global audience. However, there may be times when you may wish to use the worldwide communication power of the web without granting the whole wide world access to your information. You may want to make portions of your web site secure for commercial or personal reasons. Perhaps your sales staff is off site and needs access to customer information that you do not wish the general public to see. Maybe you want to maintain a family mailing list on-line that would be available to family members only. In both of these situations, QWD would set up password protection for you. When someone tries to access these protected areas of your web site, they will be prompted for a userid and password.

Do you need an anonymous Email address? Even if you do not have a virtual account like www.yourcompany.com with QWD, we can still set you up with an E-mail alias. Your E-mail alias would be yourchoice@qwd.com. Your aliased E-mail would then be forwarded as described in the following paragraphs..
Do you need more than one Email address for your business? With E-mail aliasing you can set up multiple email addresses for your business and have all mail sent to those addresses forwarded to a single Email account. So, if you are webmaster@yourcompany.com and president@yourcompany.com you can collect all your mail from one E-mail account rather than from several separate ones.
Do you already have more than one Email address and would like all mail sent to those addresses forwarded to a single Email account? Email forwarding gives you this ability. You may also have e-mail forwarded from a specific address or POP mail account to another POP mail account (i.e. have all e-mail sent to webmaster@yourcompany.com forwarded to your POP mail account provided by your internet service provider).
Data collection forms are a convenient way to collect information from your customers. Internet users will enter information on your forms by typing or clicking on various selections on your page. When the data has been completely entered, the user simply clicks on a send button. An email message is automatically formatted containing all the information entered on the form and is forwarded to your mailbox.
Data collection forms are provided free of charge to QWD customers with most of our hosting and design packages. Data collection forms can also be set up for non-QWD customers for a nominal one-time fee. For more information contact QWD.
Many of our customers like to use on-line data collection forms to process orders or collect secure or sensitive information that a customer would not normally give over an unsecured site (like credit card information).
Customers of QWD have access to our secure server for placement of their sensitive data collection forms. Information provided through these forms is encrypted. This provides better protection of your valuable data.
